Czech Republic Maps

This section represents various maps of Bohemia and Moravia,

their regions, cities and towns they looked like in the 1880s, 1890s, 1900s, shortly after the World War I, and some images of 1920s and 1930s. The Cities and Towns Mapssection contains street plans of the Czech places themselves and their nearby cities as they looked at the break of the 19th and 20th centuries and offers a close-up view of those. Cities and towns, which are represented by 3 and more images, are collected to individual sub-folders in the section - please browse those for Prague (Praha), Karlovy Vary, etc. The Regions and Overview Maps section includes maps that depict various regions in Bohemia and Moravia in general and their provinces in more detail. These maps record the evolution of urban regional infrastructure, political and administrative subdivision. The site offers high resolution map reproductions for download.
