Street maps and plans of the cities and towns of Canada depict various places as they looked like at the break of the 19th and 20th centuries and shortly after the World War I.

These maps record the evolution of cities, built-up areas, street patterns and transportation. Maps like these had been the principal sources for touring and getting driving directions. Historical old cartography allows for a close-up view of the cities in Canada themselves and their nearby suburbs as they looked then. The site offers high resolution map reproductions for download.
