The 1900 Historic Antique Map Collection by Discus Media is a heritage map library featuring more than 2,000 original cartographic images of the Old World at the break of the 19th and the 20th centuries, drawn by different cartographers. Various sources were searched to compile this collection locating as many different maps from this period as possible, with an emphasis on maps of European countries like the British empire, German Empire, Russian and Ottoman empires, France, Sweden, Switzerland, etc. in the 1880s, 1890s, 1900s and shortly after the World War I. This is both a city map site and country map site with modern country alphabetic index helping to find easier old maps of Europe in overview, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and others. The Cities and Towns Maps sub-sections contain street plans of Berlin, Helsinki, Lauzanne, Lisbon, London, Luzern, Lyon, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Rome, Saint Petersburg, offering the best possible contemporary driving instructions of the epoch. The maps record the evolution of urban and regional infrastructure, political and administrative subdivision of Austro-Hungary, Greece, Denmark, French Republic, Italy, Portugal and Spain...
